Posted May 02, 2018 09:07:47 It’s been a while since we last checked in with Huawei’s flagship smartphones, but they’ve had a nice few months of life.
In fact, Huawei’s first new smartphone in India was a Huawei P9.
This time around, Huawei has announced the Huawei P10, which is actually a phablet with a smaller screen and a higher resolution.
The Huawei P 10 has been priced at Rs 7999 ($950).
It’s powered by the Kirin 965 SoC and will be available in India later this year.
As for the specs, it features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with a 559ppi pixel density, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the back, while the backside is fingerprint-resistant, which makes it difficult to detect if you’re wearing gloves.
It will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, a 13-megabyte storage with microSD support, 4G LTE connectivity and a 4,100mAh battery.
Huawei is currently selling the Huawei Ascend P8 for $1,499 ($699 with 32GB storage) and the Huawei A9 for $899 ($799 with 64GB storage).
We are expecting the Huawei Honor P9 to launch in the middle of this year or in May.
Huawei’s new phones are all powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 935 SoC, which has been optimized for high-performance mobile computing.
Kirin 9 series is one of the most advanced chipsets on the market.
The Kirin 9 is designed to provide top-of-the-line performance in a wide range of applications, and it is built on a custom design to enable faster performance in the latest and greatest.
We are looking forward to seeing the Huawei Kirin 9 Pro in the hands of the Indian market.
